With Georgetown Visitation, St Stephens, Loyola Academy from Chicago, and WCAC heavyweights Good Counsel and Holy Cross, 4 returning state champions in all, there are few tougher schedules around the area than Bishop Ireton's.
Ireton alums square off in California college lacrosse matchup
The contest over, the current rivals, Sarah Rupp (l) and Katherine Simmons (r) renewed their Ireton friendship in San Diego recently when Rupp's UC, Davis visited Simmons' San Diego State Aztecs in women's lacrosse.
